Welcome to The Taste Buddies...a fun, interactive foodie group created by Lakis, Alex and Diana to share our joy and passion for food with our "Buddies"! Lakis (Chef and Chief Taste Buddy #1) was born and brought up in a taverna and, together with his life-long partner Diana (behind the camera & in charge of washing-up!) and our son Alex (Chief Taste Buddy #2) found ourselves locked down in Jamaica in March 2020..... stranded for 3 and 1/2 months in paradise with nothing to do! What started as a bit of a lark to keep in touch with friends and family has grown into a great group of Taste Buddies who have become a family of their own! Join us for informal kitchen fun, great recipes from all over the world, tips and ideas.

Dedicated to my mum, a fantastic chef and an amazing person who taught me everything I know about cooking. She worked with us for more than 8 years, sharing and teaching me all the kitchen secrets and tricks she knew, and also passing on the family recipes she had learnt from her mum and the ones she created or perfected for herself in over 40 years of her journey into cooking.

The Taste Buddies Creamy Stuffed Baby Aubergines by Alex. A delicious gluten free starter or side, as you prefer. For a vegetarian option you can use the scooped out part of the aubergine!(finely chop and sauteé with the other ingredients before adding the cream cheese)
